Stock Management
The Warehouse module gives you full control over what you have in stock, where it is, and who used it.
No more guessing if a part is available or searching through paper inventory lists.
What you track
For each material or product in your warehouse:
- Name and SKU / part number
- Quantity on hand
- Location in the warehouse (shelf, bin, zone)
- Unit of measure — pieces, meters, liters, etc.
- Minimum stock level — alert when running low
- Material group — category for filtering and reports
Stock levels in real time
Every receipt, issue, and transfer updates stock levels immediately. When a field worker uses a part on a job, the quantity drops automatically if you link material usage to tasks.
Managers always see current stock — not yesterday's spreadsheet.
Low stock alerts
Set a minimum quantity for each item. When stock falls below that level, itsTrack sends an alert so you can reorder before running out.
This prevents:
- Job delays because a part is missing
- Emergency orders at high prices
- Workers arriving on site without needed materials
Material groups
Organize items into groups for easier management:
- Filters and consumables
- Electrical parts
- HVAC components
- Tools and accessories
Groups appear in analytics treemaps and help you see which categories use the most stock.
Multiple warehouses
If you have more than one storage location, each warehouse has its own stock view. You can transfer materials between warehouses — see Material Movements.
Do a full stock count when you first set up the warehouse module. Starting with accurate numbers makes everything else reliable.
